Two-time winner of the "Dakar" and multiple world champion Jean-Louis Schlesser at the start of the biggest off-road race in Bulgaria - "Balkan Marathon Rally 2014" which started in September in Bulgaria.

After checking the tracks only 200 km. are connecting stages in the race. In the first three days the starts/finals for the special stages are 2 km. from the bivouac of the race, and the largest liaison is when the rally crossing the borders with Macedonia.

The two most famous Bulgarian riders PLAMEN YOTSOV and Tsvetomir Ivanchev will join the race.

Main task of the ORGA team of the competition is the safety of the competitors and fast reaction in case of accident.

The popularization of the “Äfrica Eco Race” in the Balkans region, the organizers confided in the doyen of the Bulgarian Off-Road Todor Hristov - representative and coordinator for the race in Bulgaria , Greece, Romania , Macedonia, Albania and Serbia.
